From Fall 2024 until Spring 2025, Juanita will be serving at l’Église Évangélique d’Aujourd’hui in Bécancour, QC. During this time, she will be involved in language acquisition and participation in a ministry internship. She writes: “A big part of this internship will be focused in my service to the community and the church, as I will be volunteering in weekly activities with the local community, as well as my participation during Sunday service, involvement with the youth group, and spending time getting to know the families of the church.”
Juanita is excited by the opportunities the Launch program provides and writes: “I will be able to educate myself, learn and grow in a deeper level in different topics related to missions, at the same time as the knowledge of Quebecois culture. This period of time will allow me to develop ministerial skills, convictions and character in order to discern God’s calling for my life, while walking with a mentor and various leaders and missionaries around me. My prayer is that my life will bring glory to God and that I will become a living testimony to the relationships I will build with the people around me.”
