      MINISTRY PROFILE

The ministry profile is a document which gives an in-depth overview of who you are as well as your ministry vision/context. The following documents are included in the profile:

      · Letter of introduction from Fellowship International (prepared in our office)
      · Bio (i.e. background information, how you came to Christ, call to missions, what led you to this point in your journey, etc.) (provided by the missionary candidate)
      · Ministry page (i.e. ministry/vision, details on context/location, prayer requests (we will include a section on how people can partner with you through finances and prayer)
      · Two commitment forms (1: One-time gifts, 2: Long-term/pre-authorized chequing information) (prepared in our office)

Missionary candidates are responsible to provide the bio and ministry page portion of the ministry profile (descriptions listed above).

            INTRODUCTORY VIDEO

If/when you are appointed, we will connect you with a videographer to have an introductory video made. This video allows potential donors/supporters to get to know you in a more personal way.

Typically we have our missionaries address the following questions:

            1. Who you are — include background information (name, brief bio, home church, etc.)
            2. Where you are going — include stats/facts about the country; who or what ministry you will be working in conjunction with
            3. Why you are going — share your call to missions, your passion/heart, the needs in the country where you will serve, goals/outcomes, explain about making disciples among the unreached.
            4. The “Ask” — include an ‘ask’ to join the reader with you as you prepare to go; ask them to consider partnering with you (in prayer and financially) as you step out for the glory of God.

Here are a few examples of missionary introductory videos that you can take a look at to get an idea of what needs to be communicated:  Fleming  |  Thiessen  |  Flemming

We encourage you to begin to formulate now how you would respond to these questions. This will help prepare for the video editing when we get to that phase of your appointment.
