  • The six-year Fellowship National Strategic Plan, 20/20 by 2020, is launched in the fall of 2015, outlining the faith-filled goals of Fellowship National.
  • The new FAIR department (established in 2015) challenges our churches to pursue relief and development work and annual donations more than doubled in six years.
  • The Fellowship Foundation (established in 2015), which encourages God’s people to be generous with direct, legacy, and investment giving, grew from zero to over $10 million in six years.
  • The formation of FAN team (Regional church plant directors in 2015) and CHaT (Church Health Advisory Team (Regional church health directors in 2020) enabled the sharing of practices and resources between Fellowship Regions. God blessed us with 55 new church plants being established between 2016 and 2021 in Canada, and 32 new church plants established by nationals in the international fields where Fellowship International missionaries serve.

  • In response to the Syrian refugee crisis, 49 Fellowship churches involved with FAIR sponsor refugees in 2016. By 2017, a total of 80 Fellowship churches had submitted 82 applications representing 245 refugees with 132 refugees arriving in Canada by September 2019.
  • Bible Engagement campaign resources are provided to local churches in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation (November 2017).
  • A three-year membership-baptism discussion ends with a motion being defeated, having received 53% of delegate vote (66.7% was needed) at FNC2017 (Toronto, ON) on November 14, 2017.
  • Fellowship International adopts a new ministry model in 2017 and begins training missionaries on the Essential Elements (Disciple-Making Movement principles) at a mission’s summit (August 2018).
  • A three-year discussion on marriage and human sexuality ended with a policy being accepted, having received over 99% approval by the delegates at FNC2018 (Richmond, BC) on November 7, 2018.
  • The Fellowship’s Halo Impact study is completed in October 2019, concluding that FEBCC churches’ socio-economic contribution to their local community averaged $785,922 per year.
  • In 2019, Fellowship National conducts a nation-wide campaign against the Federal Government’s Summer Job Attestation requirements.
  • The new Fellowship Religious Freedom WATCH bulletin is launched in 2018.
  • The Fellowship Child Sponsorship program is launched in September 2019, seeking sponsors to support child development projects in four countries.
  • March 2020 was the start of COVID-19 government restrictions and lockdowns in local churches.
  • The final report of the Fellowship National Strategic Plan: 20215-2021: 2015-2021 is sent to churches in 2021.
  • The Fellowship experienced much fruit in their missionary efforts over these six years, including:

    • 32 long-term and 26 mid-term missionary appointees
    • sending 21 short-term missionary teams
    • 111 Fellowship chaplains appointed with chaplain recruits growing from 27 in 2012 to 107 in 2021
    • 65 Francophone partnerships established, helping plant seven new churches in Québec between 2015 and 2021.
    • FAIR donations totaling over $4.6 million were received
    • Fellowship Foundation grew to $10.7 million by August 2021
