Significant Dates:
· Appointed to ministry in Pakistan in 1982.
· Departed for field 1983.
· Reassigned to serve as Fellowship International rep in the Fellowship Prairies Region in 2000.
∙ Returned to Pakistan in 2005.
∙ Returned to Canada in 2011 to continue ministry with Fellowship International and now based in Edmonton, AB.
Rod and Donna served in Pakistan among the Sindhi people group for over 20 years. They were involved in outreach through the arts, leadership development, and media production. The Blacks returned to Canada in 2015 and Rod has continued to serve with Fellowship International.
Rod is a leadership development coach working with our personnel to empower them to achieve their personal and ministry goals, especially as it relates to initiating catalyzing movements in their ministry contexts. As part of the coaching team, he encourages and enables our personnel to use coaching tools in their life and ministry. He travels to our fields in southern and southeast Asia to provide a listening ear and encouraging voice to leaders in disciple-making ministries.
