BridgeNorth Report

The mission of FAIR’s partner organization, BridgeNorth, is to restore the inherent dignity and value of sexually exploited women and girls by meeting their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. They help individuals experience freedom from sex trafficking in Canada through survivor-led support, prevention, education, and advocacy.

Recently, BridgeNorth shared its 2022 Impact report. In it, they share some encouraging statistics and helpful information that outlines what they do in three key areas — direct services, education, and advocacy.

Last year, BridgeNorth hired six new team members, supported nine individuals exit lives of sexual exploitation, and developed two new programs. They facilitated 16 education and awareness events, and coordinated their first advocacy campaign, which reached 275 MPPs during the recent provincial election.

As a relatively new organization (established in 2018), these are encouraging statistics. We encourage you to read the full report, and celebrate with us as we witness the Lord bringing freedom to the enslaved.
