Supporting national surgeons in Africa
The impact of being on the ground leads to reflection on the challenges and needs within the communities being served. Questions like “What can be done to make a real difference?” naturally come to mind. This is something that has been on Jesh and Julie Thiessen’s hearts, Fellowship International missionaries who served on the ground for over six years. Now back in Canada, their efforts are focused on bridging the gap and supporting national surgeons in Africa as they work to meet needs in underserved areas.
