History and Context:
Rivne Family of God Christian Church formed in February 2014 with a vision to multiply small missionary churches. In 2018, a second church was planted which later planted another church in 2021. Each of the three small local churches within the network have their own pastors and elders. From time to time they have joint services.
In total, there are 26 permanent members. The lead pastor is deeply committed to mentoring and discipling church leaders, and is encouraging pastors in many different regions across Ukraine. They also frequently travel to the frontlines to serve and encourage wounded soldiers.
Primary Ministries:
Rivne Family of God Christian Church focuses on serving those affected by the war, especially non-believers on the frontlines.
Current Needs:
- Construction and equipping of a rehabilitation centre for military personnel and families (land purchased with FAIR’s help in summer 2024)
- Purchase of resources for military hospital ministry
- Resources for children and youth ministries, especially for large families and those living
