Here’s a modified excerpt from Bechara and Roula Karkafi’s recent newsletter.

What a joy to share with you about how the Lord is moving in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region! Here are just a few highlights from the past couple months.

Last October, we visited Egypt, Lebanon, and Türkiye with pastors from our Fellowship churches where we held the Stronger Together Plus conferences. There were over 200 participants and many of them, even from non-Christian backgrounds, committed to plant disciple-making churches among their communities following the Catalyzing Movements training.

Currently, we are reaching more than 5,000 families with food baskets and medical supplies through the discipleship-making churches ministry in six countries in the MENA region.

We’ve reached more than 2,500 inmates and families of inmates with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through distributing care packages in five countries.

We ask you to join us in prayer for:

• The Lord’s protection and favour upon the new church plants in MENA.
• Fruit following the recent Stronger Together Plus conferences in Tunisia and Türkiye
• The safety of our prison ministry chaplains in Türkiye.
• The Lord’s provision for the financial shortfall we’re facing in our prison ministry (approximately $15,000).
