Mid-Year FAIR Update
It may be the beginning of 2021, but our fiscal year starts in September. So we thought it would be a great time to share some “mid-year” updates about some of the projects we’ve been promoting since then.
Weathering the Storm — $136,387 raised to date
Through the Fall 2020 special appeal, Weathering the Storm, FAIR sought to raise funds to help Fellowship International missionaries and ministries to either reach out to their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, or to help them adjust to and survive it. Through the generous support of Fellowship churches and donors, FAIR has been able to support food and hygiene essential distribution programs, rent relief, and ministry staff support.

Lifeline (Venezuela) — $25,857 raised to date
Launched in October 2020, the Lifeline mini-appeal sought to raise $25,000 to cover the shipping costs associated with sending essential items to Venezuela. These items, such as dehydrated food, medical supplies, shoes and materials for the local church, are received by and distributed to the most needy through a local NGO and local church volunteers.

Heart of the Village — $31,418 raised to date
The Winter 2021 special appeal Heart of the Village is seeking to raise $85,000 for a multi-faceted investment in the community of Lindula (Sri Lanka) which is focused on women and children. Sure Hope
FAIR’s most recently launched mini-appeal is Sure Hope (Poland). Through this appeal, FAIR is partnering with Fellowship International missionaries Pierre and Hanna Jutras to ensure funds are available to continue and expand the camp ministry to the children and youth of Poland. This ministry has shown much fruit, as many children and youth have committed their lives to following Christ.

Child Sponsorship
We are now halfway through the second year of the Fellowship Child Sponsorship program. FAIR is thankful to report that there are currently 253 sponsors committing to 332 sponsorships. Since the beginning of the year, FAIR has received $60,000 through the sponsorship program for the four ministry locations in Honduras, Lebanon, and Sri Lanka.
