Lifeline Update

It’s hard to imagine the need in Venezuela. This is partly because information is rarely released by the Venezuelan government, and the country hasn’t been featured by major Canadian media outlets for some time. Frequently, the information reported is about the actions of the government as well as the political and economic instability. But there are occasionally reports of the downstream effects, like the UN World Food Programme’s findings that one in three Venezuelans is not getting enough to eat (you can read more about the findings here).

This fall FAIR is promoting the Lifeline (Venezuela) mini-appeal. The funds raised through this appeal will pay for the shipment of dehydrated food and other necessary materials that local believers distribute among those who need it most. You can learn more here
