FAIR Appeals

On the evening of Sunday, June 7, local time, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines and surrounding region. Collapsed buildings, landslides, and widespread power outages have left many communities facing significant challenges as emergency response efforts continue.

FAIR is responding to this need through the Philippines Emergency Relief appeal.

Please join us in praying:

• for FAIR as they work through local partners to assess the situation and determine how best to meet the needs of those affected by the earthquake. Pray for wisdom, discernment, and effective coordination as relief efforts take shape.
• for those who have lost loved ones in the earthquake. There are many pastors, staff and members from within our Fellowship who have family and friends in the Philippines and this is a challenging time for them as they wait to receive reports. Pray that God would bring comfort, strength, and His peace to those who are grieving.
• for rescue workers and emergency personnel who continue to search for those who are missing. Pray for safety, endurance, and success as they carry out this difficult work.
• that as relief supplies and assistance are distributed, the love of Christ and the hope of the Gospel will be clearly demonstrated and communicated to those who are suffering.
• for local churches and Christian leaders serving affected communities. Pray that they would be a source of practical help, encouragement, and hope in the midst of hardship.
