Dawn for the Poor | Philippines
Millions of young people in the Philippines are locked out of education because of poverty. Without support, higher education remains out of reach and the cycle of poverty continues.
Through FAIR’s partner, Bukang Liwayway (“Dawn for the Poor”), a Christ-centred ministry now led by the local Filipino church, students from some of Manila’s poorest communities are able to stay in school, grow as leaders, and encounter the Gospel. Sponsorship provides tuition, basic living support, and discipleship through Bible study, mentoring, and leadership development.
FAIR is seeking to raise $25,000 to support 27 students who are currently without sponsors. This investment keeps them in school and equips them to serve and transform their communities through Christ.
These students represent the next generation of leaders—people who are seeking to live out their faith, serve others, and help interrupt cycles of poverty. Together, we can bring Gospel hope where opportunity is scarce.
