Hurricane Eta hit Honduras overnight on November 2, 2020. Several days of strong winds and heavy rainfall pounded the country before being downgraded to a tropical storm on November 4th. Casa Hogar, located just outside Siguatepeque, was spared significant damage due to great care and the grace of God. However, the rest of the country has seen substantial flooding and mudslides. FAIR is responding to this emergency need through Fellowship International missionaries Melodie Francis and Rick and Ena Ward. Funds raised for relief and rebuilding efforts will be used by Casa Hogar to help local community members who have been hit the hardest, and to support the work of local trusted organizations.
