Drake was raised without a religious up-bringing in Hamilton, ON. It wasn’t until he was incarcerated that he began a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. As a new Christian Drake was baptized at James North Baptist Church and soon after began helping out with campus ministry.

God presented Drake with the opportunity to pursue campus ministry with The Fellowship and he seized it, sensing it may be his calling. Drake feels blessed to be able to continue doing what he enjoys, bringing the Gospel to college students and making disciples that make disciples. Since becoming a Christian it has been a dream of his to work formally with what the Kingdom of God is doing, and he gratefully looks forward to the challenge and mission ahead.

2 Corinthians 5:20 states that God makes His appeal through us as Christ’s ambassadors. This passage is one that Drake clings to as he seeks to be an effective ambassador for Christ in his campus ministry work and in his personal life. It is also a verse that he keeps in mind while discipling students and others. Drake’s goal is to bring students to Christ and to disciple them in their walk with Jesus so that they can go on to multiply disciples. Drake is passionate about introducing people to Jesus as well as strengthening and training those who follow Jesus.
