∙ Service with AIM at RVA, 1990-2003.
∙ Accepted for career service with Fellowship International, 2005.
Mark's primary ministry objective is to model, develop, and implement a comprehensive ministry plan to assist Faith Baptist Church (Vancouver, BC) and other Fellowship Pacific churches through the training and development of leaders for multicultural ministry into the communities on their door step.
Most of Mark's time is spent mentoring young men and currently he is working with ten mentees. Mark writes, “The venue for these interactions are sometimes in group leadership sessions where we study a variety of topics but mostly one-on-one in coffee shops and in homes of Canadian newcomers. I have been privileged to work with young men from Brazil, Korea, Canada, Iran, Congo, Burma, and South Africa. The immigrants that the mentees have interacted and bonded with predominantly come from Iraq, Kenya, Philippines, Iran, India, and Fiji.”
