∙ Appointed for ministry in MENA (Middle East/North Africa) in 2021.

Meghan loves Jesus and desires to see his name proclaimed and glorified, especially in areas of the world where people have not yet had an opportunity to hear the Good News.

Throughout her degree studies in applied linguistics (English language teaching), she had the opportunity to learn about and experience ministry in secular professional contexts in both North America and Asia — being a witness for Jesus by doing her job with excellence, meeting felt needs in a given community, and building relationships and trust with clients, colleagues, and community partners.

Following her undergraduate degree, she moved to North Africa to work in a small language school, and was privileged to experience first-hand a context where the harvest is truly ripe. Over and over she would find herself in conversations with local young people where they expressed profound interest in her faith, Jesus, or the Bible. They almost always were the ones who initiated conversations about these meaningful topics — Meghan just had to be present!

Meghan needed to return to Canada some time later, and used the transitional season to gain experience in public service and church ministry, and pursued a graduate degree.

She was grateful to God to be able to join the Fellowship International family, as the organization is aligned with her understanding of the believer’s and the church’s scriptural mandate to be his ambassadors in this world, making disciples of all nations, especially among the “unreached”.
