Send Love to Sri Lanka This Valentines Day through the Heart of the Village Special Appeal
Valentines Day will certainly look different this year as many countries and communities maintain social distancing and lockdown protocols to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Although you might not be able to have a fancy date with your sweetheart or friends the way you usually would, there are still lots of ways to share your heart with others this February.
One great way to spread love on the day of love is to support the Heart of the Village special appeal. Through this appeal, the local church in Sri Lanka is being supported to minister to marginalized women and children in Sri Lanka. Through building renovations, preschool, pre-natal and vocational education, and food supplements, those with the least advantages are being empowered to gain new abilities and seek new opportunities. We can’t think of a better way of saying a socially distanced, “I love you” than giving the gift of new life and the Gospel!
