Weathering the Storm Update
In September, FAIR launched the Weathering the Storm appeal because we saw that Fellowship International missionaries and ministries needed help as they ministered to their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are so thankful to have received $75,960 towards this appeal to date.
Funds raised are being used to alleviate the suffering of those who have been most impacted by the economic implications brought on by the virus. One great example of how these funds are being used comes from Claudia and Diego Cardona (Colombia). Their COVID-19 ministry through the local church focuses on supporting Venezuelan refugees and community members left without employment. Some of the funds have already been used to provide housing, medicine, and diapers as well as other resources for those most in need.
