Journey With a Child
Last September (2019), FAIR launched the Journey With a Child appeal. The goal was to raise $80,000 to help support the four Fellowship Child Sponsorship ministries as they transition to sponsor-based funding. Through the generosity of Fellowship churches and donors, FAIR has received over $81,000 to date. We also currently have 231 sponsorships committed.
We are so thankful for this support which will enable the ministries at Casa Hogar (Honduras), Cedar Home (Lebanon), Clementia Life Centre (Lebanon), and Love Trust (Sri Lanka) to continue to provide holistic care to the children they serve. Funds raised through Journey With a Child will be used towards the needs of the ministries and may include: school supplies, staff support, meals, well-maintained safe housing, or counseling. With each need met, the children are shown the love of Christ, and that’s because of the love demonstrated by those who have partnered with Journey With a Child and the Fellowship Child Sponsorship program.
Please keep the ministries at Casa Hogar, Cedar Home, Clementia Life Centre, and Love Trust in your prayers. Pray that partners would commit to 434 more sponsorships, ensuring that the ongoing financial needs of each of these locations will be met. Pray that the children served through these ministries would gain a clear picture of who God is and seek a relationship with Him as their Saviour.
