Writers

Our Purpose

  • To enhance the life and ministry of the leadership of FEBCC churches, including ministry staff and lay leaders. The magazine strives to give these readers information and news to help them improve the quality of their ministry and encourage them to grow in Christian maturity.

  • To promote and reflect the core values of our Fellowship (biblical, evangelical, importance of the local church and missions, etc).

  • To communicate what God is doing in our midst by publishing news about FEBCC ministries, churches and people.

  • To provide a positive corporate image for the FEBCC, including a shared sense of identity, vision and mission as an association of churches.

Our Policies

  • No articles will be accepted which would identify the gospel or the FEBCC with any particular political viewpoint.

  • No articles will be accepted which violate the doctrinal statement of the FEBCC.

  • News coverage and advertising in the EB does not imply official endorsement.

  • While the EB will consider publishing material by freelance writers from a variety of affiliations, writers from within the Fellowship will be given primary consideration. Every article submitted will be evaluated and the Managing Editor or Associate Editor will reply if a stamped self-addressed envelope (Canadian postage) or e-mail address is provided. E-mail submissions or queries preferred.

  • Submission of a manuscript constitutes permission to publish. All submissions will be edited. If major changes are made, the Managing Editor will, whenever possible, contact the writer for approval prior to publication.

  • Include a sentence or two of writer identification at the end of the article.

  • The EB buys one-time rights to publish in print and permission to post the article on the FEBCC web site. Reprints accepted. Payment follows publication, approximately .05 a word.
