Guy was born and raised in Montreal. Although he believed in, and prayed to God, his interest was gradually replaced by the pursuit of scientific knowledge and philosophy until, overwhelmed by a great sadness and feeling of guilt that had lasted for six months, he was driven to the Bible. Guy realized for the first time that God loved Him and had sent his Son to die for him.
Guy began attending Eglise Baptiste Évangélique de Verdun and soon became involved in evangelism. It was then that he became interested in apologetics. Guy was given opportunity to share the Truth with some professors at a nearby University where he worked as an assistant.
During a summer trip to Middle East, Guy was surprised to find that this area of the world, once part of the Apostle Pauls mission field, had almost completely reverted to Muslim beliefs. Guy became burdened for the Islamic world.
Guy was appointed for short-term service to the Middle East in 1991 and after completing his assignment in 1994, Guy was accepted for career service with International Ministries.
Guy's initial involvement in Bible Correspondence School ministry gave him the opportunity to follow up with believers throughout the Middle East. Guy has a tremendous gift for talking to people and openly sharing his faith in Christ. His background in science has opened many doors allowing him to share the Gospel.
In March 2007, Guy moved to France where he is continuing to work in evangelism and apologetic ministry among students, intellectuals and Middle Eastern immigrants through a ministry partnership with France for Christ. He occasionally travels to the Middle East and other parts of Europe to lecture at churches, Bible schools and universities.
