Khudawandpur Boys Hostel
In India only 62% of the population are considered literate. However, the number of those counted as functionally literate is much lower. Khudawandpur Boys' Hostel is providing an opportunity for boys between the ages of 10 and18 years to attend good, government-run, public schools. The boys who are part of the program are primarily from non-Christian, nominal, or new Christian families living in villages where there are no schools.
The boys learn to cope, even thrive, in the public school setting. KBH gives them a place to grow in Christ, by providing daily devotions, Scripture memorization, and weekly worship services. There is a lasting impact on not only the boys themselves, but on those with whom they come in contact. A number of past students are now in full-time ministry supported by Christian organizations like: World Vision, Campus Crusade, and Every Home Crusade. You can give a boy a second chance.
Cost: $30 for one boy/mth
